I always seem to be in the wrong place when gas prices skyrocket. When I lived in Chicago several years ago, we had a shortage one year and it was 2.60+, higher than anywhere in the US and Hawaii at the time. At least I didn't have an EVO then.

plokivos,
Referring to your sig, you don't see any boost taper with the MR BOV? I have one too, seems like the car had more pull through the high RPMs after I added it, but I have no boost gauge to confirm this.

hi nrg fizzix, i don't have a MR BOV, it's stock bov that holds at 19.5 psi on WOT to redline.
You're suppose to hold the boost and gain 1mph with the MR Bov tho, from what I heard. That and 1 G bov.
I hate the fact that you CA people have to pay so much for 91 octane crap gas.

Yes, 91 octane is crap, I hear the EVO is much more lively with 93. Have been thinking about getting some 100 and mixing in 5 gallons to a tank of 91, but I'm afraid I will get addicted and it is like $4+ at the pump, ouch. Nothing in the bay area is cheap though. A starter house, if you can find one, is like $600,000 for 800 sq feet where I live.
