why dont you pm SPARCOEVO and see what his own times were? Also, try beating either of those cars, especially the sparco evo, on any road course in the world. Check out the SCC/SuperStreet time attack or the SCC EVO Orgy and you'll see how fast those cars really are.

i don't think this stuff was done at a drag strip... i thot the times were a bit high too, but it's more about the consistency for the competition, as long as everyone's times were high, and they were.

Look at the times the Skyline ran also. If you read the article it explains the conditions (temp, altitude, and grip). We have run low 11's, so don't read too much into those times in the USCC article, they are meaningless. Robi will confirm, as will RRE and Buschur, who know what that car is capable of as well.

I think they were using g-tech type stuff to measure the times, and they were measuring them against each other with the same equipment rather than against a "regulation" 1/4mile strip...

I was reading that article at the Disc.Tire while getting my tires rebalanced... I was dissappointed that the MR2 won the title. Oh well, maybe next year... keep up the great work guys!

The article said that the Sparco evo was having problems. When the car is running good it should do mid 11s.

ouch... when Road and track can take a stock 04 Evo and run a 13.01 and Sparco and buschar drop tens of thousands of dollars to get less than half a second better that hurts. Dont get me wrong they are really nice cars but that time is horid.

Do you guys read any of the posts above? Of course the times are horrid, given the conditions. If you think the Sparco Evo or the Buschur car run by Robi normally run those times then your are entitled to believe that. Do you also believe that a 620whp Supra or a 550whp Skyline run high 12's-13's in normal conditions? Do you think that stock 04 Evo that Road and Track tested would run a 13 in those conditions?

to haters and those that don't bother reading or asking questions.
