From what I have heard it is a japan part kinda like trying to order the JDM Mr BOV at a local dealer. Plus the people at the dealerships around here are "not so bright" to say the least!

dealer is easier, you don't have to wait. i would pay the extra to get it from a dealer. I think almost all Mitsu's from before about 2001, have red badges. They should be able to help you get a badge to put on the back, i was thinking about doing that myself. i don't know if there is one for the front though.

Everyone is saying the dealer is easier and cheaper so all I need now is the part # because the dealers around here are not willing to help me out whenever I go searching for parts. They have a very "I don't give a Sh*t attitude" so I have found it is cheaper and less headache to order from mitsubishiparts.net if I have the #'s handy.
