Is anyone else confused about the DYno chart?

My EVo makes as much power as that with BPU

I'm sure with a better tuner and 21psi plus of boost that thing would make well into the 400whp mark on a dyno jet.

Better Tuner?

Its HKS for christ's sake.

You'd think they would actually promote the potential of the kit instead of showing numbers that reflect a tuned stock setup.

hmmm, i would have to think that this kit has much more potential than that.. for one thing, it is only running 18 psi, but you know it has to be more capable than that... i'll be interested in hearing more about this kit

$6200? you've got to be kidding me. HKS makes great products, but you'd have to insane to pick them over a brand like Greddy which is alot cheaper.

T67 for $3700 or HKS for $6200? Tough choice for me...

I really don't think they are that great. In the UK most users have crack mainfolds and even Al aka dynoflash cracked his when he had that setup with the 3037.

I have also heard of many people havng cracked HKS manifolds in the Z32 TT variety as well.

I love my RS intake though.

Guys - the deal with HKS is they tune the stuff with stock like settings on 91 octane fuel and those dyno figures are a configuration which is 100% safe and reliable for all operating conditions and envirnments.

Keep in mind the HKS stand alone ecu has no knock control so it must be left on the safe side

Also - HKS is super conservative with their whp rating on parts - I think they shoot for numbers which no one will make less than - to avoid complaints

Its obvious that the kit can make 400 whp on 93 octane and 21 psi

BUT - its also obvious that AMS makes a much better kit for less money

The HKS stuff is good for people who MUST have JDM

I used to be a big HKS fan but now there is NOT ONE HKS part on my car
