WORLD RECORD EVO CLUTCH (with pictures)
WOW?!?!?!?!
WTF??!??
This holds the world record for trashing a clutch on a brand new Evo, actually he probably holds the record for all new cars.
Here is the official record
2 Hours and 50 miles
All of it bumper to bumper, rush hour, freeway traffic on LA's famous Interstate 5 Freeway.
If there is anyone out there with a better/worse record I say prove it.
(Oh yea please do not try and break this record for glory reasons )
This photos are being displayed let people under stand how not to drive a high performance car
Apparently he said he knew how to drive a manual. I believe him but the Evo is no regular 5-speed. It was rush hour traffic and he was doing a dealer trade that was about 80 miles away. Bumper to bumper traffic all the way. He said every time he let his foot off the cultch the engine would cut off. So he keeps the clutch depressed the whole way there.
This is also a reminder to all though's who are considering purchasing a New Evo how important it is to get one with the lowest miles possible.
We had to replace the entire clutch assembly including flywheel.

If the GM of your store sees what you are doing I am sure you are going to be the one that gets fired.

Just kidding, you may right though. Hey you guys please keep it on a downlow.
I would like to keep giving you guys insight to all the positive and negative thing that happen with Mitsubishi.
But as of now there aren't any problems putting posts like this one, I can only see a problem if it defams the company. I think being totaly honest with the comsumer makes for better business.
