I disagree with your statement as to AYC alone makes the EVO fast in turns. I can honestly tell you that the MR that you see above entered the last turn at Limerock doing 95 mph at turn in, through the apex and the corner exit. The throttle was floored at turn in. True testament is the Ultima GTR being rolled on where the MR never had to brake before entering the turn. The MR never understeered. Without AYC the MR is truely has point and shoot as it gets. I actually believe that ACD and the LSD has a lot more to do with it. AYC is butter on top but not necessarily needed in that instance and I believe that mitsu did a good job tuning the USDM suspension without AYC.

I didn't mean to suggest that the MR is not fast in corners. I was comparing an '03 Evo VIII to a '00 6.5 TME and my impressions of it. I felt as though the cars were equally as fast (with me as a driver).
The 6.5 when in a corner you can give aggresive amounts of gas and the front end pulls into the corner. The '03 VIII in the same instance will push to the outside.

You are correct, the stock 03-04 evos does push in those conditions. I do believe that the 05's will not behave the same based on my experience with the MR. By the way the MR was on left over BF KDs from my previous STI. the tires were pretty much shot.
