I bought this "shop manual" off ebay, you know the kind that comes as a collection of PDFs that someone has made copies of a dealer's service manual. Comes in handy, those are just screen shots from it.

OK
3 weeks later ....
My car is making a loud whining sound.
I just had my mechanic check it and it looks like it is transfer case
Fu**ing great.
What the hell happend?
Is it the fluid mitsu sold me?
I used the same fluid for transmition as for TC - just like they said I should.
BTW I called 4 different dealers asking about this and they all said that is it correct.
Even today I called again - same answer.
On the bottle it says :
MANUAL TRANSMISSION FLUID
For use in NV-T350 (A578)
Not much more .
Just to add - I have never ever launched my car.
I honestly thought it can not possibly happen to me
What do I do now?

Looks like you should head back to the dealship that sold it to you. I'm pretty sure that's NOT the correct fluid.

The transfer case and transmission use different oils! The EVOs are different than DSMs.
From the FSM:
Tranny - GL4 75W-90 or 75W-85
Transfer case - GL5 SAE 90 only!
If I were you, I'd put the right oil in the transfer case right away. But it sounds like the damage is already done and your bearings are toast. Whining = dying bearings.

Although I've noticed that it makes my car hard to shift when it's really really cold. That goes away as soon as it warms up though, then things are fine.
Either way, I'm going back to OEM for the tranny next week.

Marksae is right on here about using GL5 in the trans. GL5 is hypoid oil and you can really smell the difference. It will corrode the syncros. The reason that it is hard to shift when cold is it is thicker than the multi- vis trans fluid. Dealers do switch to using GL4 trans fluid in the other cases but it really has different chacteristics.
FWIW... Penzzoil Synchromesh is the same fluid as the GM product just sold at a better price.
