Some waste of human life hit my Evo in the parking lot of a resturant we were eating at last night and took off! I hope whoever did it gets caner of the anus and rectum and has a long painful death! Est. for repair $408.96! Looks like no CF hood for me this Xmas Sorry no pics yet, the batteries in my crappy camera are dead.

i know it's wrong to take off after you hit someone's car
but you have to think what woudl you do
do reply so fast by saying you wont run
i bet you 10/10 ppl after they hit someone else's car will have the "thought"
let's run
but for this to curse someone's life? makes you lower then the person who struck your car

What else would you expect in a sue happy society that teaches people that they dont have to take responsibility for anything.
Its happened to me too. Not a week after getting my car fixed too....Man was I pissed.

I'm sure most people would think about taking off. Hopefully they have enough common sense to stay though. Seriously, people who can't live up to their actions (whether on purpose or on accident) should not be allowed to drive. It's a responsiblity, not a freedom.
Hope that everything works out man!

Sorry to hear about that. We've all had that happen to us and it's never a good thing.
My .02 is that you may want to at least look at a 2-way car alarm like viper or clifford provide. If the alarm either goes off or sets off a warning the key fob will actually alert you within a certain distance. Right now Im sitting in the middle of an office building where I can neither see or hear my car but if someome whacks it I will know about it and run out the door to catch them, which luckily hasn't happened yet.
Good luck.

my old beater was hit by some lady in an SUV and she waited for me to get to the car so she could tell me. i know such an incident is in the minority as far as most situations like this are concerned, but not everyone is the same.

The ajuster looked at it today and was really cool, he loved the car. He cut a check to my body shop for $50 over the estimate so im only out 200$ for the deductable now.
