Times for no launching

Ok we all know this thing is a beast when it is launched, but what are the times for 0-60 without launching?

You mean street start form 5-60mph. How in the world would you get going, not launching a stick shift It'll probably stall.

Since the 05 have less lag my guess would be 5.9-6.6 seconds. It's really unfair to do a 5-60mph from a turbo charged 2 liter engine. Before the turbo spools up you only get the torque of a regular 2 liter if you know what I mean

I got 14.5 @ 106 in the 1/4 just rolling off the line. I dunno about 5-60. I imagine it would be 5-6 seconds since this turbo takes a bit to spool in 1st.

I took my son out on a cool morning the other day and with 20.5 psi on 93 octane and letting the clutch out easy at about 2000 I got a few 5.4s. This is with a Gtech. 6.0s are easy in warmer weather without a drop. My best launch time is 4.8. Cool weather really makes a difference, as does the 1-2 shift.

This car is the most sensitive one I've driven on the 1-2 shift. You absolutely HAVE to get the clutch all the way to the floor to pull off a smooth shift. I think this is one of the reasons the magazines post such variable times for their acceleration runs.

I never launched my Subaru...get it rolling then go for it, less damage to clutch & drivetrain...and probably almost as quick
