Alright, who wants to come ice racing with me in Colorado in February?

All the way? I'm driving from New York to do this, I think you can cruise on over from nearby Oregon. Pansy.

Where do I get these Green Diamonds? I really liked the WS-50's last year, although I may give these a shot. You've done events on lakebeds? Is this a dedicated ice tire (what I'm looking for)?

Also, here is the contact information for the guy at the time who helped me chose the right Green Diamond tire:

As I stated in my PM, I have done many events on frozen lakes with little to no snow cover at all. That is where the Icelanders shine. I would routinely beat many more powerful cars (I only had a little Subaru OBS at the time) by over 20 seconds on a 2 minute long course. They even forced me into a special green-diamond tire class because they thought I had too big of an advantage!
Your last question... The Icelander is actually a 40,000 mile all-seaon tire. That is the real kicker.

You put an itty bitty brake kit on and they fit just fine. :-)
plokivos, WHY WAIT? Carpe diem baby, and you can either stay for one day or all 4, it's up to you. But once you get out there, you'll be hooked. Plus, since it's a limited invite, you are guaranteed TONS of track time.
