/\ ROFL i like that i always get people going in the opposite direction revving and me and crap whats that about....

 

HAHAHAHA... I suppose... But, there are those out there who need to learn where to draw the line...

 

Nah, what's even worse is when you're getting revved at by the car behind you in the drive-thru... Nothing beats that...

 

Always have received the nod or wave from fellow EVO and Subies.

But, I had a srt-4 and a regular turbo'd neon vent the bov next to me.

IMO, the Neons wanna prove and play. The EVO's and the Subies don't really need to. They have a mutual respect and understanding.

Don't the SRT-4's get this?

I wave and then race for a little, if the road is worthy, and then usually giggle like a school girl.

 

Every subie owner (wrx and sti alike) has given nothing, but props and being very cool, we both respect each others cars alike. Every srt4 owner blows off next to me, gives me the ricer stare and is always trying to prove stuff. I use to respect srt4's as a "bang for your buck car" (even though they are butt ugly and handle pretty horrible), but everytime I see one of their owners I lose that much more respect for that car

 

i usually just roll down my window shake my head and say ............... its not worth me wasting my gas gas is expensive these days u know? then roll it up and turn up the music hehehe

 

I know right? That stuff happens to me all the time. I got revved by an STI that was driving by while I was putting gas...

 

STi and Evo are ok with me, I wave they do the same.

STR-4 They chase me ... and I hate that.

 

Its happened to me twice (SRT-4's), once in a parking garage......go figure.

 

Evo owners , so far always thumbs up, sti owners, similar but one wanted to race, wrx owners sometimes want to race, same goes for 240's, and even golf/jetta/gti. got a thumbs up from a really cute chick in a r-32, but for some reason, every srt-4 owner wants to race.

 

While picking up my son & wife at the in-laws (parked infront of the house), a Ford Explorer with 3 teens in it revved on me.

What's really funny was the fact that the kid had to switched it to neutral to revved on me (it was an auto) and then quickly switch it back to "D". It made a horrible "clunk" and the vehicle jerked foward.

It made laughed so hard (and loud too) and they heard me. The passengers looked embarrassed. The driver looked at me but quickly turned away with a silly look on his face...

 

I've found subaru drivers to be the coolest, always wave (WRX or STi), Evo owners sometimes wave, SRT drivers tend to go past like I'm driving an accord or something, dont even seem to notice the car, then everyone just stares.

 

So it seems based on the posts that the Neon owners basically are out to prove something on the "street cred" tip.

Dumb. Whats dumber is that I succumbed to it..

But oh well. SRT4's need a good spanking every once in awhile..
