OEM Lexus yellow capsules Any try them?
Has anyone seen or tried these? Seems the yellow H11 bulbs can't make it yellow enough So I was wondering if you put these of them or even over any regular bulb would they look like the OEM Lexus Fog lights? They claim they are Lexus OEM parts....

that seems like it would help make the intense yellow look.
ALthough I do believe that lexus uses a yellow lens as well on their projectors for their foglights.

Yes they do use a yellow projector.
This is the color of the light on their project car. I believe this is just from the caps, no yellow lense or projector used on the prelude.

I think you do have to put them in the fog light then put the housing back together.... I'm not sure thoough.
IT may depend on what application you use them for... This is an H4 It appears they just fit on the bulb and clamp on. Guess it depends on if you can get the light bulb back in the housing with the cap on it or not....

I emailed that site and asked if I could purchase some caps. Hopefully we can see if these will work!

This is a response from HIDTech.com..................
"Thanks for your inquiry. Each pair of Yellow capsule is $30 + $7 S&H. Our paypal address is sales@hidtech.com Please note that this item is sold as it with no return nor exchange, so please make sure you know how to work with this before you purchase.
Please also note that they don't just insert over your existing halogen bulbs and then insert from behind the foglight. You will need to separate your front clear housing first, then secure yellow capsule onto your reflector housing by simply drilling three small holes and clip the tabs from the bottom of the yellow capsule in, then seal the front clear cover back. I would say this needs to be done professionally, and we also provide such retrofitting service. Our labor will be $120 (for Plastic foglight front cover only. We don't do glass) including return shipping for your foglights. Remember this is a one time investment, you can have yellow foglight for as long as your own your car.
Please email us if you have any other questions.

Can anyone think og any place that sells color glass caps like this? I assume if the cap is skinny enough it will fit on the light bulb itself and go right in without having to take the whole damn housing apart.
