What does the small vacuum line on the underside of the intake snorkel attatch to?
Any pictures?
I know this is a dumb question but I want to make sure since I am getting check engine lights and want to make sure this is run to the correct location.
Thanks alot!!

It sounds like the line that connects to your boost solenoid. If you recently installed a boost controller and disconnected the boost solenoid then you will get a CEL.

I didnt disconnect the boost solenoid. It is still installed on the car. The person that installed the MBC capped that connection on the intake and left the hoses hanging with the solenoid still connected. I was getting the check engine light and then I reconnected the vaumm line and still getting the p0401 code.
What code should I be getting if the solenoid is disconnected?

ACtually when you install a BC you disconnect the vacuum lines from the turbo and dont use them.
And Im not asking for comments; I am asking for the engine code that people have seen when either disonnecting the boost solenoid or when the vacuum lines from the stock solenoid have been removed (or let them hang) from the turbo and the intake snorkel.

you can leave the line from the intake to the solenoid attached (unless you want to plug both lines)
the nipple from the solenoid that T's off to the turbo/wastegate should be plugged
now, i assume you went from intake manifold/bov and T'ed that to the mbc and then put the other side to the wastegate and hopefully plugged up the turbo nipple.
nothing should be left open because it will read as a leak

also, p0401 means "exhaust gas recirculation flow insufficient detected"
which im pretty sure is because you have open lines in that stock solenoid circuit (aka compressor housing/solenoid/intake)

Yes that is what I did with the exception of the solenoid; I did not cap that off and I left the other line hooked to the intake.
That is what I did on my eclipse and never got a code.
Thanks for the help.
