i too am tryin to get a supra...I'm looking at a 1995 bone stock virgin with 28k miles they guys asking 30K...im trying ot get him to trade me so we'll see. I doubt he'll agree to the trade, so im thinking of selling my evo and trying to haggle the guy down to about 27k. We'll see.....i want a supra so bad.

On the straights you were doing okay, big deal. You were holding the Z06's up in the turns.

It's a great motor in an outdated chassis.

 

Supra are nice and it's amazing that a 10 year car costs more then a new/use 03 EVO. The reason I didn't buy one and tried the EVO was because the EVO is a sedan,awd, and less mileage. I regret not getting one because the resale valuen on the EVO sucked. Also the warranty and quality did not meet my expectation.This is my first and last MIT.

 

Yes, it's a nice car and the newest one is about 6-7 years old already. All i'm say is that the ZO6 is better and offers more but i'd rather have an evo vs a supra turbo but that is just my opinion.

It's hard to compare the Supra with the evo because they are two different cars. I like the evo because it is the ultimate sports car and probably the fastest point to point car due to the all weather capability.


GTKage, if the supra turbo is all that why is it in A-Stock instead of Super Stock like the ZO6? The ZO6 does it all with fast low and high speed turning capabilities. I'm not talking about tunning because we all know who is the fastest in the Le Mans titles if your talking about modded cars i'm not debating because the sky is always the limit in that case.

get the supra. it has forged internals and can handle up to 900 hp. i was originally going to buy a MR or a STi but after much thought, i want to get a supra. mileage is not important cause its gonna be a project car with a rebuilt motor anways. plus its a supra. if u want a fun car to drive also consider the 240sx w/ the sr20det motor in it. its a fun car for drifting. good luck
