It really depends on what you're going to use the car for. For everyday driving, I'd take the EVO. With AWD, you can drive it in the rain and not have to worry. The EVO also has a real backseat and a real trunk.

Supras are more rare, maintain their value, more luxurious, and are built with better quality. But they're old now.

Supra>Evo... I LOVE my Evo but Ill be the first to say the supra is a better car. Outdated? Last time I checked our car still uses a 10+yr old engine in it. If the supra holds its value cause of F&F then why the hell does our cars suck?

IM callin about a 1995 with 28,000 original miles tommorow...

What is every ones opinion on this:

I owe 17000 on my evo. Sell it for 27000, pay it off. Put 10'gs down on the supra.

It's a 1995 TT 6spd with 28k original miles..bone stock virgin..!?!?

Personally, buy a car w/ the purpose in mind. I had a friend who went from a track modded RSX-S to a Honda S2000 (track modded again) and then sold that for a friggen Jeep TJ....why? Because it was stopping him from having a social life b/c the s2k is usless anywhere else but the track. So to get to my point....if your looking for a weekend warrior track car then go for it..it'll destroy pretty much ANYTHING if tuned and driven right. However, if its going to be your daily driver as well you need to take certain things into consideration....cargo space, gas milage, how many people are you gonna want to be able to take w/ ya on occasion. As far as it being a 10 year old car....you guys are pathetic at this....haven't you ever seen the show OVERHAULIN'....they can make a care thats 25 years old look MINT! Age means nothing....its all about how deap are your pockets and what do you want....

Thats all it comes down to. End lecture....hehe

Every car will have its' quirks. When searching for another car, it's pretty normal to look at all the negatives of your car and all the positives in the other car. Let's not lose sight of how great of a car the EVO is.

A 10 yr old car will have 10 yr old paint, a 10 yr old interior, and will always have things to fix. Whereas with a new car, you don't have to worry about doing major maintenance on and can concentrate on modding and racing!

I bet that 10yr old paint is better than my 1 yr old paint, also that 10 yr old interior probably still has less squeaks and rattles than my car. The Evo still gives me a grin on my face when I drive it tho.

Man, do what YOU want to do. The supra is a hell of a car, pick what fits you and your needs. Every car has its ups and downs, it's just a shame that some people are such fanboys with their own cars, they have to criticise other people's car decisions when moving from that car.

Best of luck in whatever direction you decide to go bro. Both are awesome cars!

Did you already check the car out? Theres a lot of scams dealing with low mileage supras these days. If you checked the car out and everything it legit and you dont mind taking the hit in your wallet, Id go for it. Also Id check with my insurance company what the difference in insurance would be too.

You can go to most dealerships and walk out with an evo later that day.

Zillions of people are looking for a low mileage, stock, mint and manual supra. There are very few out there non modded and the ones that are the people are holding onto. It's all supply and demand.

If you can get it for 28K then go for it. If you don't then let me know if I can get it for that price Supra have a good resale value unlike an EVO which drops like heck in a year. My friend got his for 2 years and he can still sale it for more then what he paid for with little modification done to the car.
