Found a Supra ive kinda been eyeing but have questions about selling evo

What would the best way to go about working a deal where i still owe 24k on my modded 340whp evo and get a supra a guy is wanting 23k for OBO? I pretty new when it comes to this stuff but i have a mother who works at a car dealership so she knows a tiny bit about all this stuff.

Sell Evo, meet payoff.

Go to bank for car loan.

Buy Supra.

I hope you are accounting for the fact that you will get a crap rate on a loan for the used Supra compared to the new Evo.

Is the supra stock? What year? Just curious.

Either way...Sell the evo and try and get a line of credit instead of a used car loan. Usually get a better intrest rate on those. Worth looking into anyways.

Uh, keep your Evo, this Supra will end up costing you 35k once you factor in first year depreciation, what you will actually get for your car and the crap interest rate that the bank will give you on a used car.

What I'm saying is, you will not get what you owe for your Evo. If anything, you'll come out of it upside down and owing the finance company a few grand in addition to what you'll owe on the Supra.

Supra is so outdated. Slow, heavy and was a legend for it's time. It is not fast as a corvette ZO6 nor can handle as well, with it's porky 3400lbs.

I believe some people on this forum sold thier Supra Turbo for the new evo. In my opinion it's an outdated over rated car because of fast and furious and toyota has discontinued it. Just wait for the new version or wait for the nissan GTR if you prefer imports. It probably weighs the same with AWD and 450hp

lol i hope you are kidding my friend? supras can run up to 1000hp on stock internals, and for you to say that they can t handle i take it u never drove one, i race my friend 94 supra turbo with a single turbo upgrade, sway bars and a simple coil over from eibach and i was owning z06's and porsches turbo, yes they could keep up with me in turns but in the straight of seibring they all ate my dust.
BTW his supra has over 700whp and ran low 11's on the quater mile at 120+mph, the supra as way more power potential than a z06, i love both cars but the supra wins hands down when it comes to modification, the only better/equal car would be the skyline gtr...so please before you talkabout cars you havent driven or race don t come out with stupid comment like this.
