service bulletin on Evo 8; camber kit?
I noticed at about 75 mph my new Evo 8 had a steering wheel vibration. My experience usually says this is a wheel imbalance situation so I called the sales rep who sold me the car and asked him to get me into the service dept quickly. The rep said "I should have told you that this may happen, it happened to another customer of mine and they had to order a "camber kit" so that they could align the car properly".
Now, I know what camber is (top of wheel tilted in (negative camber) or out (positive camber), and I measured mine at .35 degree negative on both sides. I wonder if this camber kit installs at the top of the strut tower or down where the struts attach to the wheel hub.
Any one heard of this?
