Recaro seat satisfaction survey...
How do you guys like the Recaros? Especially those of you that are over 6" and 200lbs. Do they hold you in well enough during hard cornering? How bout on long drives...do they punish your lower back and rear?

They are very similar to the ones my wife had in her BMW. They hit me in the kidneys and are a little lacking in the lumbar area but over all they make me stay put and that is what its' all about for me with this car.

Feel great for street driving, but...
Last driving event I went to, halfway through the day, my legs started hurting. Couldn't figure out why... next session went out and realized it was because the seats were not holding me in place. I was too focused on driving to see that I was propping my legs against the door(right turns) and center consule(left turns) to keep from sliding out of the seat.

I just went on a 6 hour drive today, from sac to tahoe to reno back to sac and my back was a little sore, but overall I think the seats are good they could use a little more lower back support, but I did not buy the evo for luxury I bought it because its a race car.

you know what the problem is?
the lower left side of my drivers side holder is all smooshed from getting out or sitting on it sideways, when I'm working on the interior of the car or cleaning it.
it feels like it's lost a lot of support.

i agree with plokivos, i am 6'2 250 and getting out of the beast seems to have smooshed the pad a little because i have noticed that i am always having to reclamp the damn side bloster to the seat frame if that makes sense

I think the seats are damned comfy. They really hug you! I wiggle around a little sometimes, but I'm pretty small I guess. Definitely not over 6' or 200lbs. But since I'm a girl, it's okay to be small. haha
