I have the same noise. If it's under 30 degrees, I hear it.
Oh well....I learned to live with it.

haha you guys are funny complaining about the car creeking when it is cold. last winter in michigan i was still driving my winter beater. it was an 84 VW GTI. the cool thing about it, it didn't have working heat. it had summer tires, the driver door didn't have a "door pull" so the door wouldn't shut all the way, the exhaust was broken at the cat, the battery liked to go dead at the most convient times (like when there is ice on the ground... try push starting a car on ice ) because the heat didn't work, neither did the defrost and last winter was a nice one. every day on the way to work i tried scraping the ice of the windshield, but it was just as bad inside. solution: lower the driver window and drive like ace ventura in sub freezing temps. there were times when i would get home with frozen tears from the wind. now that was something to complain about!

Almost ALL of your 30K goes to the powertrain. You're lucky it even comes with a seat. So don't say, "Oh I thought I bought a 30K dollar car. It shouldn't squeak." Yeah, you bought a 30K dollar car that out PERFORMS supercars on road courses. You did not buy a 30K dollar car with state of the art sound deadening properties. Wrong market, pal. Wrong place to complain as well. Maybe the IS300 boards will have more sympathy. Just my 2.

And I thought I was the only one. On my driver's side a-pillar it makes so much noise when the temp drops below 50. It pisses me off, but I have learned to deal with it (my system helps out).

Do I want to disown my car because of it, no.

Haha that's funny, because my 2001 Z28 squeaked and rattled in the summer AND winter. My buddy's windows fell out of his F-Body. Don't get going on those pieces of crap. Also, we used to have a Subaru dealership (family has dealerships) and we got rid of it because they were such pieces of crap we didn't want to sell them anymore so please don't talk to me about Subbies. And what are you talking about luxury vs. performance cars? I never said ALL performance cars won't rattle and I never said ALL luxury cars are bad performers. Please don't make false comparisons based on my quotes.
