Maron,
I think I know where your car is. How much did you get on a trade ? That dealer has been stocking me for about 4 mths. Does it have 7000 miles?. I hate that dealer but if the price is right maybe ..... I would like the gray though

yea it has 7k on it. it is at freehold mitsu. I may pretty soon be buying the red RS that they have there for my track only car and drive the MR daily. That is something i'm thinking about but I know that the minute I put the top down in my s2000 and start driving it again, I might not do the trade. but yes you really have to haggle with them to get wha you want. they can be a bit pig headed

If you crashed an Evolution due to your own error, take a few driving courses taught by professionals as you seriously need it. You apparently attempted to defy physics. Consider this: if you were in a 360 Modena, the car likely would've broken loose sooner than the Evolution. Additionally, knowing how to stop a spin on the first revolution is a must-to-know in my book.
I took my MR to an abandoned airport after it had a good 1000 mile break-in. I just started doing large 300-foot radius circles in the parking lot to get a feel for it. When I was exceeding 75mph (with sand and dust -- certainly not clean pavement) and the thing wouldn't let go, I knew it was wise to stop and not find out what the limits were. I just figured it was something absurd. I won't even attempt to use the car's power on public roads as its pointless. I'll make a quick pass and enjoy the great braking and handling for emergency situations.
The car belongs on a closed course. Play with it there, and only after proper training.
