The 05 has much faster spool up, thus u don't feel that much lag especially with the increased low end torque. I'm just glad the evo's feels like the STi (torque wise) now

I'll say this, if the turning radius was shorter, the Evolution would be a bit twitchy at speed. Yes, it's definitely wide, but you can get the rear wheels on the 2005's to rotate if you really need to tighten it up. Just make sure you know what you're doing.

The EVO drives like a supercar, has numbers like a supercar (with a few mods)... and looks like a million bucks.
It has the turn radius of a WWII tank, though.
A friend/co-worker put a rented Yukon XL into a space that I would not have been able to pull into last night, fwiw.
