GOT IT! Finally! 2005 EVO Viii [Electric Blue]

Well guys, after looking at a used 03, another used 03, then an 04 with 700 miles, I finally ended up waiting and now I guess it was a good idea.

I picked up the 05 EVO this morning and right now its 2am in my driveway with 160 miles on it. I got it with the SSL package with HIDs. Im very glad I got this package, interior looks incredible, seats are fantastic and sound system is impressive, and of course HIDs are very cool!

I am installing a camera on my computer right now but the install is going incredibly slow, so ill try and get them up tomororw for you guys.

The color - AMAZING. Its incredibly unique and it changes with the light, the pictures I took of the car do NOT do 10% of the justice, Im sure other guys with the Electirc Blue ones know what I am talking about!

Anyway. Couple bad things. Something is ****ed up. I have to take it back to the dealer. Whenever I have the steering wheel turned all the way and Im going slow the car bucks and makes weird *** noises and gets REALLY rough and almosts stops the car, incredibly weird problem, so that sucks, but hey, its under warranty!

Anyway, handlings is beyond my wildest dream and its pretty quick stock too!
I have to get going to bed Ill post some more updates tomorow! Glad Im back with awd and a turbo. I guess Ill have to change my name on here from Soon2BEVO to IGOTANEVO

I actually have the pictures on my comp but it says theyre too big so Ill resize them tomororw.

Tom

CONGRATULATIONS!!! The 05's are pretty convenient with the free maintainence. I'm sure you'll be apreciating that as well as the ACD. I bought my 03 used just before Mitsu updated their website with the 05's and kind of wished I waited a little longer like yourself. I'm sure you'll be enjoying your car even more once you get past the break-in...
