Look i'm not trying to make any waves here, he is right. He can choose to put whatever he wants to put on his car, but at the same token its my right to think anything i want and i think its funny. As for ur quote yes i did buy a Evo VIII "UK" badge and im in the process of getting the MR badge as well. Yes it is also true that I along with everyone else here in the US dosen't have a UK spec Evo VIII but last time I checked my Evo VIII is an Evo VIII and if I like alot of other people who live in the states wish to put a Evo VIII decal on my Evo VIII because we unfortunately didn't get one on ours. Same for the MR decal, I got one so I"m putting it on. My point is ur not "saying"or attempting to "appear" that u have a UK Evo VIII just because u put on UK spec Evo VIII decal. All ur saying is that u got an "Evolution VIII", thats all. As for the putting on the MR, yes there is a difference between the two, 6 speed, BBS wheels, aluminum roof; and in my opinion if ur putting that on its the same as me putting on a FQ330 decal. That is trying to "be" or "look" like something u dont have.
Again not trying to make any waves, just stating the facts.

our floormats do say "EVOLUTION VIII". imo, placing UK badges that say "EVOLUTION VIII" isnt really in the same category as placing MR badging on a NON "MR" evo... i might be off on this, but im just throwing it out there

personally, i dont care if someone with an 03 puts a MR badge on their car. i wouldnt do it, but thats me.

hey, when it's on my floormats and my user's manual, it means it's a viii. it's no type R si. Also a plus is people from behind can see what car i'm driving in too.

also my ricer jdm red taillights make me a fat ricer because factory taillights rules.

Yes it does but it also represents a type of Evo VIII, by putting that decal on ur saying u got Evo VIII MR. So its funny cuz if u dont have an MR then why put it on? Come on no one puts on to say "Mitibushi Racing".
