A big favor

Does anyone have any free carfax reports left on their account? I found an evo for a good price and i was wondering if anyone is able to look up the information for me. If no one is able to i'll order myself a report

The vin: JA3AH86F73U095837

I would really appreciate it if someone has any reports left.

Thanks in advance!

Be careful. A clean carfax report is not a guarantee that the car has never been in a serious accicent.

True. I'm going tomorrow to look at it. It's a 2003, has 18k miles and they want 24,900. I'm going to try and bring them down lower.

i wouldn't even consider the purchase unless the owner can provide all documentation down to the receipts used to purchase oil, gas used, wax brand, etc...

you are looking at a turbo car so you have been warned. not everyone is as meticulous as they appear.

i would also suggest taking a 3 ton floor jack & some jack stands w/you. if they try to stop you from jacking up the car to look underneath, run away very fast.

u can also have the car inspected by a mitsu dealer (i recommend at least 2 ) & everything checks out, deduct your cost from the seller's price

remember it's like buying a house, everything is negotiable. good luck & hope it works for you.

Thanks. I'm trying to bring my friend's brother with me. He's a certified mechanic and also my dad who was one back in the day. We're going to look over the car with a fine tooth comb.

Only thing i'm mostly worried about is the clutch. A new one with the labor will run me pretty hefty (i would assume an ACT and labor ~ 1500)

2003 Black with 18,664 miles $23,900. It has a Boost Gauge installed (i would assume an aftermarket one) and a rear strut bar.

based on the area you live in (NJ) i would NOT give him anymore than $22,500. if there is an issue with the clutch, deduct your clutch costs from the above # even further so u would then offer him say about $21??
