Hi everyone!
Well, I just got my evo7 from the garage after i changed the clutch to RALLIART 3POINT metal disc and plate.. Having removed the old disc, it was obvious that it had glazed due to high temp *?*
First the pedal is now much lower in engaging the clutch.. great!
The advantage of the 3point perf clutch is it's brisk engagement (the car jumps like a rabbit) and the changes are so hammering.. 2nd gear on full throttle and the 4 wheels are spinning around!
The disadvantage is the vibration on 1st gear start up and when lowering gears..
Surely, when changing to such a perfomance clutch disc, the car must be driven with a bit of forced pedal throttle and a lot of blips going up or down the gears..
Do I love it? Yes coz it's damn fast.. No, it's less a daily driver..
