Wishing you told me this before I spent the money on a odyssey battery kit with you. It died in 2 months

I really hate that battery. Huge waste of money.

Odysseys usually last a good amount of time as long as the car isn't left along for a week to two weeks at a time. Eventually if the battery gets too low the cells inside get damaged and it'll deplete faster and faster but that's common on any dry cell mini battery including the Deka.

People in warmer climates tend to have better experiences with the Odyssey than others.

If you need a cheap solution such as the one ETS uses, you could try these two together. They'll fit in any tray the odyssey will:

That's the same battery ETS uses with a different terminal setup, hence the adapters.

Ive always been happy with Optima's. I currently run a relocated trunk mounted opty Yellow. NO problems. Ive run optimas for years. wouldnt try anything else

I know the poster was looking for a mini battery settup, but the optima will start anything. Except for my wifes sex drive

There's no problem with the generic battery they use, it's a fantastic brand and it's proven to be reliable. The B&B is one of the best batteries on the market IMO and one of those most widely sought out batteries in the DIY electric vehicle market.

I'm seeing 9 volts when cranking with the b&b mini battery that comes with the ets kit. Is that normal?
