We lost one here in TN also...but they sucked bad so it's good riddance as far as Im concerned. I'm really not that concerned with Mitsu imploding. It sucks for those that are employed by Mitsu and I'm sure it will have an effect on the economy (A small one) But to get all bent out of shape over it? Not me! Don't get me wrong, I love my Evo, but there was life before the Evo and there will be life after.

They're closing, because they let people with even bad credits finance and buy $30,000 suv's and all the other cars.

Now when they can't pay you back, you're left with a lot of debt as a dealer.

that's why mitsubishi hired that guy who worked for hyundai and that's why they're closing down so much.

That be an interesting trick since DCX does not own Mitsubishi or its name. All the higher ups think the dealer body is far too big, so having a few go away is something they want to do. Of course, some areas will be hurt through attrition, but that's just the way it goes.

Yeah cars go way up in value after they stop being made. Just look how much a Sterling is, or maybe a Merkur XR4Ti...

I thought you were serious, then I saw the simily face. Whats the big deal of Mitsu going out of business? It's not like we have warrenties anyways. I was just in for the P0300 refalsh on Sat. suprising they didn't charge me anything. Another dealership in town wanted to charge me $85 to do it, and the service person said it could damage the ECU??? I was shocked at that comment, a Mitsu dealer saying they might screw up their own product. Hence, I have lost all faith in that dealership, I will never go back to them. Thank god for a back-up.

Just bc some are closing down doesnt mean all will..

Looking at it from a different POV, if there are less dealers it means less competition, more sales for other ones.
