well, yeah... but that's why the EVO came specifically with those tires. the same reason why our suspension setup is angled the way it is. things like this make the EVO. add em all together and that's why it's one of the most talked about vehicles on the market. brand new ferrari owner walked across the parking lot just to tell me how hot my car was on the market. i looked at him and grinned, "your car's pretty hot too. congratulations you lucky bastard."

I like comparison discussion with STI better than SRT-4. it's just more fun.
More fun until they start dropping off spec-Cs at the docks!

And the evo is a rally car because...? Has mitsu finished a rally since the evo hit the US? Does that awkward looking "Lancer WRC" car have inverted struts (like STi)? Yes! Does evo? No! Does evo even have the same basic body shape as the WRC car? No! So evo doesn't share the body, suspension, or AWD system of ANY rally car, but it's a rally car because it has 2L.

Ha Ha, evo owners. Go figure.

No one ever said a stock USDM Evo would win a rally, but at least it would qualify to enter one under WRC rules. Your guy brought up the subject that the STi is a better rally car based on this C&D article, we're just pointing out this one little fact that he forgot.

you do know that cars a test car, like any new rally car in its first year, they go through a test period.

you might want to ask yourself, if the STI was so good, why did it kill its driver and navigator by flipping over so much on a simple jump?
