How to adjust weapon R damper?

Hey, this may or may not be a "problem", but the Damper seems a bit long and I was wondering how to adjust the length on it:

Anyone know?

that looks like the whole kit to me... the L shape piece bolts to the motor mount, and the round plate goes under the shock tower bar... you can adjust the length or the damper by loostening or tightening the nuts on either end...

or are you saying you don't have the L-shaped piece?

Weapon R

As far as the damper goes, just push the damper rod into the body until its short enough. Had the same problem, even lengthening the slots in the mount until i tried this out.

the picture with the arrows is from prostreetonline.com's install write up.

If you don't have the engine mount how do you know the dampener needs to be adjusted?

It's hard to tell it could be a difference in the dampener's body length. It looks like the mount for the dampener is straight up from one of the motor mount bolts. I guess you could drop a plumb line and measure to see if either one of the motor mount bolts is pretty close to the length of the dampener.

Vanilla Sky,

Looks like you have everything that I received with my kit. I had the exact same problem installing mine. Off the top of my head here's how I remember doing it:

1. Install engine mount bracket
2. Mount damper to engine mount bracket
3. Remove strut tower brace (makes things easier)
4. Loosely attach damper to strut tower bracket
5. Install strut tower bracket over studs(I used a rubber mallet to tap it down over the studs)
6. Bolt everything down tight.

Hope this helps.
