Is there any modifications you can do to make the Ti tip stick out further?

Not sure but one thing you could do is find a JDM or UK rear bumper cover off a evo VII or VIII to replace the USDM. Shouldn't be to hard for you. The USDM is about 2" longer than the JDM or UK.

Maybe you could get a custom test pipe or high flow cat made that's longer but then the hangers on the exhaust might not match up. I'd say change the bumper because that is the bumper that the exhaust was designed for. Or just wipe off the bumper every day.

You don't want to make it too much longer, when it heats up it expands and gets longer. If you make it too long the muffler can will contact the inside edge of the cutout and melt the bumper.

Ti must be welded in an inert atmosphere, doubt many muffler shops can do this.

Wasn't trying to flame, just didn't want him to walk into a shop and watch them wreck his exhaust because they didn't know any better.

Yeah, I think you can get a spacer for between the the mid pipe and axle back or cat to mid pipe, not sure how this will affect hanger alignment.
