I haven't noticed any difference in performance between brands around here.

YMMV...
just curious, where you live, do they sell both 92 and 93 or is it 87, 89, and 93. also how wuch is 93 anyway?

Yep, there are a couple semi-independent or franchise stations around here (Admiral) that are consistently 5-10 cents cheaper per gallon than all the competition. I think they make all their money on cigarettes! But their "ultra" is only 92 octane so I never fill up there.

Here it's either 87-89-91.... And 3 stations with Trick unleaded 101 for 4.99 a gallon. All those stations are owned by Saad Saad (the man with many 10 second cars).

Who and what decides which states get higher octane??? Wouldn't you think warmer climates would warrant the need for a higher octane? Somehow AZ got hosed.

it would be a tie between VP & Sunoco as they also have mail options to get higher unleaded than 100. VP has up to 104 oct unleaded & Sunoco 106 i believe both can be mailordered.

if i want 93, my ONLY two choices here is farmcrest or 7-11, and there's only 1 of each store that has it. Otherwise, I have to go to denver.
