well a while back, i think it was the november issue of import tuner. there was an article called tell the truth. now to this day i still dont know if the majority of this stuff was true. but if it was, well it was a great article. it's all on diffrent brands of pump gas. all high octanes. and to be honest, it's really funny because 76 100, arco 91 and mobil 91 and chevron had the highest ratings. with the lowest evaporation rating and while 76 91, and shell v-power 91 had the higher evaporation ratings. at the same time the chevron and shell had the highest distillation residue, probably from the addative (techron or v-power). o yea! as for octane booster, they really dont work as good as you think. and they work best at lower octanes. say 100 octane, it wont work well due to the fuel already being so clean. anyways i was really suprised. i would pick one up if you can. now as for performance wise with your specific car, well i really dont know...

There are 2 dominant gas stations around here, Shell and Citgo. I very seldom use Citgo, so I stay consistent with Shell. There maybe better gas out there, but I'd rather use the same.

Honestly, I get the best mileage with Safeway gas. I use anything else (BP tends to be up there with Safeway) and my mileage goes to crap. I'm not sure about performance as I don't race a whole lot and don't gun it enough to really tell, so I just use mileage as my benchmark. Shell is probably the worst, my car hates that stuff.

In Detroit, most 93 is good, but Sunoco 94 is great! Boosted up to 1.4 bar right after I put it in. Usually, I'm just hitting 1.3bar with the 93octane, stock with just K&N panel filter.
There's a place around here that sells race fuel at the pump. Might have to try it out one time to see if it's that sweet. Maybe take it to the track in the spring.
