Technically, Ultimate Performance is the shop there, MachV is just parts sales. Dan (the owner) is a great guy and he's given me lots of good advice and sold me a good amount of stuff. Like everyone said, stop by on Sat. a lot of us will be there - I'll be there around 3pm. You can ask them all the questions you want, and see if you feel comfortable with the answers. You can check out their equipment and see what they're all about. Also you can ask people who show up what they do with their cars and who they feel comfortable with. Much easier than typing it and waiting for responses

Dan from Mach V is a great guy... he is alway thowing evo and wrx meets together at his shop. But down side is the parts they sell are some of the most expensive I have ever seen. You can get much better prices on the internet, pay shipping and it will still be cheaper than buying some stuff from them. And the labor rate is at $90 a hour now. They posted a sign on the wall of there shop (in the office area). For me thats WAY overpriced.

I have never had anywork done by them so I cant comment on quality of installs but for the price they better trouble shoot and make everything fit like it was supposed to be there.

just me .02 cents

Chris

Off topic, but: How close are you? There are a lot of us in the Sterling/Ashburn area...

I've ordered a lot of stuff from Mach V in the past. They've helped me build up 2 GSX's and 2 Evo's. The higher prices seem a bit discouraging, but you get what you pay for. They stand behind what they sell, and their service is top notch. I'd recommend them to anyone who is in their local area and is looking at a shop to build a relationship with and do a lot of part purchases over the next few years.

Their staff is also great. Very friendly and knowledgable. They don't just push parts to get a sale. They push things that will make your car better.

Do you by chance have a white RS that had a window out? I was following one down Cascades parkway into Sterling a while ago... I live up by Algonkian Park...
