If you own the AMS TBE or know about it please help!!
I'd like to know this... will the AMS 3"downpipe will retain the stock lower tie bars? this is very important considering that im not planning on upgrading the tie bars just because of teh downpipe. Also It like to know if the AMS high flow cat and downpipe will fit the HKS hi power exhaust? thanks for any help

Not sure on the exhaust fitment to the AMS Downpipe/Highflow cat...
But the NEW version of their downpipe WILL clear both lower braces...
The older version won't clear one (Front one I think) and barely clears the other (rear one) if not it will need spacers. Mine just barely cleared the rear one...the front one I had to take off

K, well...I know that the new downpipes are avilable...
Honestly your order won't be processed till tomorrow anyways. If you need 100% confirmation, I'd suggest calling them when they open tomorrow morning and order over the phone.

And FYI, you won't notice the removal of the cross bars. I've had mine off for nearly 3 months since I installed my AMS DP and Cat. I still take corners with my passengers glued to the windows with no noticeable loss of control.

The TBE does come with new bolts...stainless steel if I remember correctly...as far as hightemp...I'd figure they would include them since it's on one of the hottest parts of the car and AMS has been doing this as a respected tuner for years.
The downpipe will clear the oil pan AND the tie bars...no need to worry...

It wasn't the highflow...
Read the whole thing...the heatshield of the car was ratteling against my highflow seam. From what it looked like the heatshield wasn't bent properly prior to it going onto the car...so I fixed it myself. The AMS system had no issues at all...but at first I thought it was that because I had nowhere to check it out...I was on my way to work when I first noticed the rattle because I had just put the tbe system on the night before. When I got home I checked it out and fixed the problem with my car...so it was NOT due to the highflow cat itself.
