I'm not doubting the power gains from either product, I want power, dont get me wrong, but the question I posed was ,power for power, which approach is safer for the engine

I was in the same boat as you man, wanted flash for basic mods, I went with dyno flash and had no probs at all, a great diffrence. Also You got what you pay for is not allways true. I just purchased a tusudo exhaust of ebay for 339shipped. My boy got a helix for 500bones. We sat them side by side and there was no diffrence that we could find. Maybe i dident look hard enough but the welds and all look the same. As if the same machine did all the work. So we put them on our cars and started them up, both sound identical. Not a bit diffrent. So for his price he gets just exhaust, for my price i also ordered the mr testpipe and downpipe shipped! This is the usa, theres allways a deal to be had somewhere.

The base Xflash is great but you should always get a custom Map for your application. So I'm going to say dynoflash cutom may be the better road. The word of warning is make sure you trust the tuner. The nice thing about an all encompassing Map is it is designed to be safe.

All I want to do is ask one question: which one is cheaper?

Xflash can be custom mapped/tuned by Shiv just as easily as dynoflash can be by Al...just FYI

Either will get great results. But if you search you will see which ones make the best times. Just look an any of the dyno day results from either vendor.

i like vishnu. i use xede/xedeflash. pick whichever you like. call both and ask questions about their products, and make the determination of who you'd like helping you if a problem were to arise. also search the forums for customer satisfaction. just because someone says we doesn't mean they have a team of more than 1.

edit...don't want to be the instigator.

For custom tunes I believe they are the same around $400.00

Just FYI.
Friday I went to Vishnu for some dyno time. Base pull was 102 unleaded with drop in K & N. 214hp. I installed a Magnaflow Ti while the car was on the dyno 216hp and A/F went 1 point richer. Had XEDE installed and tuned. 263hp. Let me see Magnaflow was $619 bucks per 1 hp. XEDE with tuning was $27 bucks per 1 HP. At least I saved 23.8 lbs with the exhaust.

I gained 40whp off a TurboTrix flash for $300. That would be $7.50 each hp.

263 Whp on a Dynodynamic's is actually pretty good for such limited mods. I think on a Dynapack or Dynojet would be close to 300whp.

Dynoflash rules. Definitely go with Dynoflash.

Al, can you un-ban me from posting in your forums now. I'm not sure sure why I'm banned there in the first place, as I have never, ever, dissed you in your own forum. Do a search...
