Sadly we discover that the limited jets on this kit do not allow us to go much further on race gas and I decided to stop till I can work out a upgraded set up for 600 whp plus cars

There was plenty of juice up to 600 and then the alcohol was too thin

Here is C-16 with the alcohol at 36 psi

With and without the air filter

Best part is I drove it here and now I am driving it home - soon to feel once again what 650 whp on the street feels like !

Upon reachinmg my office - after hitting it a few times in 3rd on the highway - the rear end breaks loose the car slides to the right slightly and hits 9,000 as fast as you can blink your eye. My head hits the head rest hard when teh turbo spools.

I have this stange feelling of some kind of nervous high like I was just doing something very illegal. Honestly - its just ridiculous on the street. I can't imagine many cars beating me on a roll.

Anyway - with more dyno testing done and the new engine still in one piece its time to go back to the drawing board and figure out more ways to reach 700 whp

I just may need a bigger turbo

AL, can we see pics of your engine bay, where you tap the nozzle, and a close up of the WI controller? also what boost do you have the WI start at?

Hey Al you should run 2 injection jets. I am currently setting up to run one but soon I will be pushing two as soon as I get a 35r upgrade on my car. How is your injector pulse width doing at WOT in the upper ranges? Also I was wondering on the pump you have there , what is the maximum output of it? I have a setup from www.alkycontrol.com and the pump I got seems to be alot larger. pump pic

Just by way of numbers - without the acohol with 21 psi the max whp I previously made on my car was 430 to the wheels on 93 octane

Therefore - the alcohol allowed me to raise the boost 9 psi and make an additional 190 whp by running also 5 extra degrees of timing and almost a pint leaner on the a/f

For sure this is NO tune I would suggest to any customer - the sole purpose was to push it to the furthest limit and waht is possible on pump gas. I think this is the most I have seen on an evo with pump gas. Although no longer stictly pump gas its about 15% methanol.

Unbelievable! Didn't AMS do something like 500 whp with water injection and pump? And now 600+ whp on alcohol and pump! I don't think many thought it was even possible.
