The MR DV just allowd you to hold boost- it makes no sound- being a 100% recirculating valve.
Intake wise- I felt like I lost power with all the intakes I tried. Now I'm back to stock with the K&N dopin- and my car is faster then it ever has been.

I take it, you are pretty happy with it.

you're not suppose to adjust the hks... i think conceptually, the hks is the best design, you should put it back on and try putting the screw on the least tight option and then maybe give it a few turns, it's only suppose to be tight enough to counter vacuum pressure at idle.
it'll hold all the boost you want... and if you need to vent more than 23 or so psi or whatever the limit is... you just get two (the only bov by design that can do this! (except for tha turboxs or whichever one that copied that design).

For those who tried out a few BOV did you lose power (butt-dyno wise) depending on the bov. I have an turbo xs rfl and 1g bov and it makes a difference when using the turbo rfl vs the 1g but the driveability with the 1g is 100% better.
