TiAl BOV Owners...

Its impossible to find a sound clip of this BOV. Could people plz explain how this BOV sounds and works for them (ie: low rpm let off stalling issues?, how loud compared to HKS SSQ, does the sound have a whistle like Hks or just a blow off of air like a RFL and blitz DD?). need help, plan to purchase one within 2 days.

Bam whoosh is the sound. With the stock 11lb spring it sounded like a rattlesnake on my car unless I was really on it because it was too tight to open under low boost throttle lift. I put a 7lb spring in and now it'll blow off evenly under the lightest throttle release. It still holds 22+ psi just as well as it did with the heavy spring (verified on EMS logs). I like it because it seems to be one of the toughest most leakproof designs, but its a bit "look at me" loud for my taste. Very fast and furious. Oh well.

I got this one on my car as well with the 7psi spring. I couldn't believe hoe big the 11psi spring was compare to the 7 psi one. The sound is allright. I personally like the forge bov better.

thx a lot for ur help guys, so it mores like a loud whoosh of air but unique in its own way right? Hows the sound compare to the SSQ, cuz i personally feel the SSQ is the best sounding BOV. its so loud and unique too. Well LEAKPROOF is EXACTTTLy what im looking for. BTW: Where do u get the 7lb spring? Does it come with the kit? Let me know i dont want any surging or flutter at any rpm. thanks!

I wanna get the Tial but I don't plan on going to any kind of standalone so I can VTA, i'm going to go with the Forge BOV for now.

^^i HATE the RFL bov, that thing sounds like a gay guy farted "woooooooosh" just air being blown out really fast, really generic sounding. A few guys with scoobies around here seem to love to drive around in packs and blow off at people with them...

It depends on the turbo you are running. If using the stock turbo you will need the 7psi spring when you order the BOV. If using with a 3071 an 8psi and if using a GT35R you will need a 11psi spring.
