Coffee on intercooler spray switch

Has anyone else had to replace their intercooler spray switch due to spilling coffee of anything on it? 2 days after I got my EVO someone cut me off. I had to slam on the brakes and dumped my coffee all over the switch. The sugar froze it up so I had to replace it.

Just curious if anyone else had this happen?

i spilled juice in mine and it got hard as ROCK, but it would work if u press the SH*T out of it. So i did the old "my playstation controller buttons stuck" trick. Get the button, get a toothbrush u dont use, dip the toothbrush in hot water and scrub away at the button, after that, button works as if it was new.

I used to get coffee locally before my morning commute...after spilling coffee on a daily basis in the cupholder area and intercooler button, I decided to wait till the end of the commute to get the coffee. I never even use that switch though, but last time I checked it was fine.

This thread makes me feel sorry for older Saab owners. The key in those cars was actually mounted in the center in a small dip in the center console. Slop too much coffee and you can't start your car! What a bad design!

LoL
I spilled coffee(it was Starbucks btw LoL) in there ONCE....ONCE...after that..no more drinks in the EVO......
Luckily I got on that spill immediately and cleaned it. I would reccommend to wrap wads of napkins around the cup in the holder and cover the top. Drink and sip at your own risk!
