Denise I hold an advanced degree, own a business, and about as far from a "Fast a Furious" type as you could ever hope to find. I just have to wonder what rational basis you have for you posts. Your comments do not speak well for you as a person, nor do they contain much truth.
I am only posting here to let you know how amusing I find both the originator of this thread and you Denise.

Wow guys.
Thanks for your comments. I just got back to New York from vacation and have yet had time to test drive an evo. This board is great. I had no idea I would get that many responses.
- How is the ride of your evo? does it compare to the 996? My 996 is completely stock.
- Some commented on maintenance, actually 996 isn't that costly to maintain, I spent maybe around 800 last year on the car for service. How much apprx with the evo?
Thanks again for your comments.

The ride is harsher in my Evo than it was with my 993. This is somewhat significant as I had 18" turbo twists where as my Evo has the stock 17s.
The 911 is definately a more comfortable car.
Maintenance will be cheaper in the long run. Whenever anything breaks on a Porsche it is at least a $1000. Service and maintenance on an Evo is just going to be less as it is a cheaper car.
