Regardless of how the rim came apart, Enkei may still be interested in seeing the rim. If they were approached politely, with a detailed description of what happened they may be interested in getting the rim and taking a look at it and maybe, just maybe, they will do something nice for you. Even if the rim shattered due to loads suffered during the crash, they still may want to do a quick failure analysis. Data is data.

Tire was still in good shape, it had good tread and did not blow out or go flat from looking at it. Mitsubishi dealership its at is going to have to look over this. If the wheel did not blow up on I could have just got back on the freeway and drove to Vegas cause the car would have still been drivable had that not happened.
