Radio Panel Gauge Pod - Hard to read?

I am buying a gauge pod soon, and I really like the stealth look of the Radio panel gauge pod. However, this whole project will cost 200$ to complete (Panel plus radio relocation). It looks great, but how easy is it to read? I imagine it might be distracting to look at, whereas a pillar pod might be easier to read when out on the track or driving.

Does anyone have any opinion on this?

I use a center guage pod with the radio moved down and the guages where the radio was. The placement is "fair" at best, and to get a good read on the guages it's necessary to look away from the road.

Pillar pod is best for boost guage so it is at eye level during spirited driving. Remaining guages will be fine in the din panel but you will want to use bevels to angle the guages toward you for more accurate reading. Otherwise the view angle makes it difficult to get the true reading.

I would say that the boost gauge is the one you should really watch.
