psshhh[EVO8]

Hrmmmm....it would seem that the wind abrasion is chipping the clear coat off of my carbon fiber spoiler(stock evo8 spoiler). Will Mitsu replace this you think? Has anyone else had this experience? Thx in advance

funny thing i had the same problem but dident say anything cause i thought people would say something stupid. but i went to the dealer and yes they replaced it for me at no charge. they told me slow down im driveing to fast. who wouldent its an evo. gl

no problem. what i really think tho cuaes the problem is pebbles or other little things going over the car and slowly chiping away at the wing. then it starts to peal off. not shore tho. ima stick with going to fast. lol

though i have a lancer, i also have an OEM spoiler (cf) the clear is also chipping away but since it didnt come stock i dont think they would warranty mine..but some of the evo guys have gotten new wings

I had same problem . Carbon fiber will start to discolor chip will get big and deeper
has to do ultraviolet damage. New wing seems to have thicker clear coat. I can
see the orange peel in the new one . Mits replaced it for free. I was 5th one
in past 6 months at that dealer

The majority of times you buy an OEM product, it is covered by a warrenty of some kind. Ceck it out, you never know what may happen!

mine did that as well.. i think it was the hot wind as we drive messing it up?

isnt the evo 8 spoiler all carbon fiber???...i'd remove the paint...i think sum1 on hea did a how 2 on that...looks sickkkkkk
