Anybody elses drive side seat TOO CLOSE to the arm rest?

I noticed a lot of people complaining about squeaks and what not but the only squeaking that is coming from my EVO is the fact that the drive side seat is slightly rubbing up against the arm rest and the friction causes the squeaky/cheap noise? Anybody elses like this or did they **** up putting my car together?

My 03 did not make any noise, my 05 with leather makes so much I am going to get something done.

My 05 with the ssl made lots of noise...I solved it by wrapping a bandana around the armrest and that did the trick. No problems closing or opening and did not slide off.

I can see my 05 SSL starting to do that, but honestly, don't lean that much towards the armrest, and it'll be no problem. . .Recaro's tend to have FAT bolsters, and when you sit in them, those fat bolsters push out over time, which is normal for any sort of foam. . .I guess you can get a CF arm rest for $78, that'll eliminate the leather on leather rubbing. . .

Yeah I have the same issue on my 04. It can get a bit annoying....but I guess over the past few months I have grown accustomed to it

Same here, that noise is driving me crazy. I was thinking about placing a piece of cloth in between, but if anyone finds a better idea speak up please.

Any one asked the dealer for ideas on this overlooked problem. I am thinking about putting the faux seude one out of the 03 in the 05.
