Is there a part number for the fiber shims that are stuck onto the back of the stock brake pads? Or would you have to buy the pads in order to get the fiber shims? I just had some Hawk HPS pads installed, and the fiber shims were not put on the Hawks. They squeak like crazy now! I would like to buy a set of the fiber shims to install on the Hawks. If they dont quiet down the Hawks, I will simply reinstall the stock pads, they arent worn at all. This way I wouldnt have to destroy the fiber shims by taking them on and off different pads.

Thanks!
Russell K.

The only shim set that Mitsu is listing is this: MR475618

I cannot comment if they are fiber or not. They are $18.72 at Mitsubishiparts.net. If you end up tying them, please update us here whether or not those are the fiber shims.

So it looks like I'm going to need to replace my hub because one of the studs seems to have stripped it's splines.

P/N MB914617 is listed for both the front hub assy and front wheel bearing assy, does anyone know if the hub, wheel bearing and wheel studs all come as one piece? In other words, is this the only part I need to order?

Thanks

Yes it's all one piece. Hub, bearing, studs. I've done one before so you can be sure. I probably posted the part number actually.

Okay I found everything I was looking for except:

Cam sensor housing cover gasket. This is the 3 bolt triangular gasket that covers the reluctor on the end of the exhaust cam.

Hollow dowel pins that locate the cam caps. Had to take 4 out to use the spring compressor.

Oh and for the hell of it if you can, valve keeper part number just in case I drop one somewhere. Yup, first one I did I managed to drop one.

Thanks
