Unhappy worst day ever! (any damage to car when towed?)

Man today I had the worst day ever! First my car gets towed! Plus i just got my lowering springs so i was scared that they might have messed up the body by scratching it and all! secondly scared that the drivetrain might have gotten messed up... but i dont think anything is wrong after getting it back for $110... Damn that hurt the wallet for nothing! not even a crap mod!

Secondly my toliet over flowed! and now its all over the bathroom and the freakin room! sucks major!

Well just needed to rant!
Also any damage in towing a car like to the 4 wheel drive or anything? well they said they if the driver knows its a 4 wheel car they put it on a dolly and all... so im hoping they did that! cus they said the car would not move if its a 4wheel drive vehicle.

If the Ebrake was on it wouldnt really go anywhere unless they towed it from the back, But if the car was in gear it would go foward wouldnt it??

well, since it's AWD, you gotta either dolly it for flatbed it. otherwise, the tires which are touching the ground will drag. e-brake doesn't matter.

okay heres the details i think... well they used a regular tow truck and i think they towed it from the back? and yes the ebrake was on... well thats why i asked... they said they put it on a dolley (forgive my spelling) which is somewhat like a flat bed... well thats what they said they do if the driver knows its a 4 wheel drive car... so i just wanted to know if there would be any damge to the drivetrain...

dizzigital what car was dragged half a block? the evo? and how was it dragged! just wondering sounds like a cool story..

uhh i thought with viscous coup. diff's all 4 wheels need to move or is throws everything out of wack.... If your e-brake was on, and they picked up the back and let the front wheels roll, (would they?) then something could go wrong... Don't quote me on this because i'm not an expert, but I did read a sticker inside the door on my buddy's stealth that said that.

lol, yeah. they dragged my EVO for half a block. the tow truck driver felt something strange so he pulled over only to find long tire marks all along santa monica blvd.

he then slapped the dolly under the tires and we were good to go.

nah, you don't have to worry about the drivetrain, unless he went on the freeway.

burnouts are worse for you than that.

okay cool thanks... well this will help me sleep better! damn that sucks but it is funny! im just hoping the tow truck drivers actually realize that the evo and wrxs and so on are all awd cars and need flat beds and if they are the cheap towing companys that they at least use dolleys.. oh well

yeah, even if they don't know right off the bat, they'll find out in about 30 seconds.
