Not a hack job, but tear it down and have it done by a pro. I like the flat black the street rodders have been using, this would make the beast super stealth

Then I would paint the IC and get some VII taillights.

 

why don't you just use brown primer and maybe just slap some bondo all over it then put two or three different kinds of wheels on it. then you can bust out a window and replace it with an ultra light trash bag. slice open the seats and remove some stuffing and use a crowbar to take your stereo out. now people will really think your car is a POS and when you out run them they'll say WOW what a fast POS.
