Talk about the world being a small place. I was running late for the Keystone dealer show in Secaucus, NJ today and barely made it in while vendors were breaking down their booths. When I reached Exedy's booth I got to see all those purple goodies on the display boards. One of the younger guys at the booth approached me with an open hand greeting and asked if he could help me. I couldn't help but notice that his booth badge said "Matt Gold". This couldn't be the same guy that I just shipped a stock ashtray to a few days back. So out of nowhere I asked how the ashtray fitment was. After the realization had sunk in that I was the guy who sold him the ashtray, we greeted each other with much greater fervor. Talk of Evo's, clutches and Mr. Friedman (don't worry Al, it was all good) kept us in good spirits. Matt was kind enough to hook me up with some Exedy T-shirts and goodies. I felt bad that I had to leave on such a quick note, but there were other vendors that I had to get to. Matt, if you're reading this, I'm sorry that I had to bounce like that. If you're coming down for SEMA/IAS, I will definitely make it up to you then. Thanks again and you'll definitely be getting a call from me regarding some local sales in the NNJ area.
