What to do first???

Hey all,

I just bought a 2004 lancer es. I wanted to trick my ride the way i wanted to without any holds, so what should I do first...its automatic, thats all they had left in the lot and it was cheap. Should i get it converted to a stick first or what.. thanks

Try and stay out of Evo General when you're posting about a Lancer... that's what you should do first... and converting it to stick would probably be **** expensive...
Oh and just to stereotype here is the usual Evo owner answer "Buy an Evo"
Now for my answer, a lot of the guys like the catbacks and turbos... some good gauges are always nice too, on any car that you're gonna trick out

u need to get this out of evo general, and then you need to look into the lancer engine and forced induction sections. do a search on anything that your interested in instead of asking what turbo to buy, or some redundant question. there are people making decent power on automatics, although going 5 speed would open up a totally different game. thats pretty expensive tho.

yeah if you bought a 04 lancer why didn't you just ask for a manual if you wanted a manual? thought didn't cross you mind or something? it's not like those cars are hard to come by...

edit: if the lancers are not available as a manual i accept all responsibilty for being the dumba$$ in this thread

Put in a complete Evo drivetrain. Then add a center differential that can be switched to RWD so that you can do doughnuts without killing it. And put in a solid gold engine block for the ladies.

Christ dont do ANYTHING. You have a base Lancer ES with automatic transmission. Save your money for a better car.
