ITS THEIR JOB TO ASK QUESTIONS, they probably wanted to see if you were going to lie, and no just because you bought a car from a dealer does not mean you are connected to it. Why cant the police just exhaust every avenue on their quest for justice??? I'm sure there is something we dont know, maybe he was looking at the cars that got broken into, maybe someone heard something, whatever. Even if there is nothing else, the police can call and ask questions. IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE AND ARENT INVOLVED THEN YOU SHOULD BE HAPPY YOUR TAXES ARE ACTUALLY PAYING SOMEONE TO LOOK INTO THINGS. THEY ARE DOING THEIR JOB, STOP CRYING ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS

I was willing to go to bat and take time to go take a 40 minutes ride to talk to this detective until he said what he said.

Now that I know that everyone's ok, I find it to be a little funny.

 

I said stereotyping, not racism. And I did not mention that in the detective's part only in the dealership's part. The questions that always arise when purchase a car is, "what are you trying to do?"

 

I'm sure they would still need to file some sort of report. It happens when you have a car accident and since it involves theft, I would imagine that they need to report it.

You are obviously prejudice, cuz the whole reason you want to respond to this post is so you can criticize a black man for thinking that his unfair treatment (and that's what it is) may have something to do with his race?
